For Our Passengers
We are FLIGHT 614 Vocal Duo, an American-based mother-son acoustic duo. We met in Albany, New York in 2001 on a wintry December morning. Music began before Austin was even born when I sang to him from the day I found out I was expecting. Music was forever in the air and we’ve been performing at home, and professionally for a few folks to a few thousand, for more than nineteen years. Following the 2020 global pandemic and five years of living in different times zones so Austin could pursue college, we decided to reinvent ourselves again.
We’ve come full circle and are launching a brand new adventure. We invite you to come along for the ride! Though we’ve both had individual careers, this journey is very special and personal to us. So, be one of our passengers. Hop on board and join us for the ride.
Our live performances include vocal harmonies, guitar, stage piano, and some percussion. Sometimes, we include double bass, and backing tracks that have been recorded by FLIGHT 614 in the studio. As a guitarist, double bassist, pianist, and vocalist, Austin is both classically and commercially trained and has more than 19 years professional performance and recording experience. Kimberly is a professional vocalist and keyboardist with nearly 40 years performance experience. The two are skilled composers, lyricists, and arrangers. The song selections in our extensive repertoire have been carefully crafted and adapted. Our music is perfect for providing beautiful ambience, but it is also guaranteed to engage music enthusiasts and keen listeners!
Our tried and tested repertoire includes classic pop hits spanning decades and genres including pop, jazz, indie, r&b, rock, country, and yacht rock, which has been a hit with audiences of a variety of age ranges. The artists in our setlist include: Norah Jones, Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Frank Sinatra, and The Beatles.

During our short breaks, we will supply appropriate music over the p.a., so there will never be a moment without music at the event.
What do I need to supply for the band?
